The KBP Service Plan  |  Planning Your Video

Ken Browne works closely and judiciously to assess a client's needs and resources. He interviews clients and reviews existing documentation, such as print material, videos, web sites, and other visual/audio communications tools that pertain to the client organization and proposed video projects. He then crafts a proposal that clearly states the goals and features of the proposed video and scope of work, a timeline for the proposed video, a treatment/storyboard, and a detailed budget estimate. Because each video production – whether stand alone or a series – is a unique venture, Ken Browne Productions (KBP) draws on the following capabilities to support the client:

  • Concept/Script Development — KBP assists client to assess communication needs and goals, media platform, and delivery method. Creates script/storyboard. This initial step requires both research of a client's documentation as well as meeting with client staff. KBP works to establish a "production team" that matches his own production specialists with client staff. KBP is experienced in working with professional educators and understands time constraints within the client organization. KBP begins each project by identifying the production liaison within the client organization who will work with KBP and the client to accomplish the work plan within the timeline and budget. KBP strives to communicate with the clients the limits upon a production and works to derive the maximum extension out of existing materials, such as a client's logo or other visual elements. KBP makes every effort to be available "24/7" once a production contract is in place.
