Ken Browne

Ken Browne broke into television production with Major League Baseball Productions, earning a 1981 National Sports Emmy for film editing. His first producing credit was recognized with a 1984 New York Emmy for Outstanding Sports Programming for the WNBC-TV special Billy, Tom, and NY: a Baseball Love Affair. He went on to originate and produce the NY Yankees weekly show, Yankees Magazine, from 1986 through 1998, airing on the Madison Square Garden Network.

Mitsubishi Diamond Vision Video Billboards in New York City's Times Square and Chicago's State Street, and later for the Jumbotron Video Information System in the Jacob Javits Convention Center of New York. The giant video "Missing Child Campaign" in Times Square received national publicity and a civic citation from the New York City Police Department.
In the early 90's, Ken Browne Productions entered the field of educational technology training, providing creative services for all staff development and marketing videos for the Optical Data Corporation, based in Warren, N.J., a leading publisher of multi-media curriculum materials in science and math. Ken directed video production for Optical Data in school districts around the country, including Texas, California, New Jersey and Ohio. KBP has gone on to specialize in videos for the professional educator. Since 2000, Ken has worked with the Educational Alliance at Brown University and the Office of English Language Learners in the New York City Publics Schools. In addition to Emmy awards, Ken's work has been recognized with a Silver Telly Award, New York Festivals Award, and the U.S. International Film and Video Festival Award for Creative Excellence. Ken holds degrees from Brandeis University and Yale University.
